On February 20 we had our first annual volunteer sign up. We like to thank all the volunteers that came out in the cold, the horses loved each and every one of you. If you missed it due to the weather, please do not worry you still will be able to sign up as a volunteer by filling out the form below! We will have another sign up day in Spring. Fancy Feathers Stables is the dream of a disabled female veteran named Christi Leidel. It is family owned and operated by her and Nelson Leidel (husband) who is also a disabled veteran. We are passionate about introducing the Gypsy Vanner breed to the four fronts of Post Traumatic Development/Therapy, Dressage, English and Western Pleasure. We strive for excellence through quality care, training, therapy programs, leasing and education in the equine world. Our organization is built and focused on providing a peaceful, safe environment for all, in need of a stress-free environment and emotional support of our horses
There is plenty of time to “horse” around with our staff if you are interested in horses. That is because we “employ” lovable horses who are the backbone of our business. WE OFFER:
