Fancy Feathers in Sidney, Iowa is a business that specializes in therapy with horses. ​We assist clients and animal lovers who want to schedule visitations, therapy sessions, or just a family outing​. We welcome everyone who wants to discover, learn, and be enchanted with these magnificent horses. Our goal is to schedule visitation times for people who are being treated for learning disabilities, physical and social challenges. We work with individuals, counselors and their patients, group visitations, special needs. Our program was started by a disabled veteran who benefited from the therapy and companionship of the horses. Her interaction with the horses was therapeutic and helped her learn how to cope, control and decompress from her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Because of this, she wants to share her fascination with horses with others in the hope of paying it forward.

mR. bEASLEY

This class A miniature horse is 12 years old. He helped Christi develop the skills and ability to deal with her PTSD. She ended up buying him and he will now aid other people who want to experience his wonderful healing powers. Beasley took part in the Gallery of Breeds at the International Horse Show in Omaha in 2015 and 2016. He also was apart of 2017 World Cup in Omaha. He has helped promote events, charities, birthday parties, and grooming lessons.

Bella is a Gypsy Vanner Cob She is 6 yrs old Her name is Wild Irish Buttercup Bella. We call her Bella or hay bonnet ( she always has hay in mane) Known as the unicorn horse Loves carrots and butt scratches She is kind and loving

She is a Gypsy Vanner Drum Horse The Queen of England uses these horses in her parades. They are also known as the Unicorn horses due to their long hair (feathers) She 4 yrs old They are known to be kind, caring, and empathetic. Perfect for Therapy Her full name is. Jazzi Chic. We call her Jazzi or YaYa. Loves carrots and mints
